Well done to all of the children who achieved 99% or 100% this term. A super achievement!
In DT we had to choose a target audience and create a board game either based on evolution or surviving year 6. The class did some market research by playing and reviewing existing games. They then had a brainstorming session with their team thinking of 4 different ideas. They shared these ideas with their peers to get some constructive feedback to make a final design. They have really enjoyed making their board games.
They all look fabulous- well done!
Year 6 have learned so much in their basketball lessons with Mr Williams this term. They are very knowledgeable about the rules and different positions and tactics. We finished the topic with some matches today. It will be so easy to pick a team next term. Well done to Sam who won the Sport Star award today.
All of Year 6 have achieved their Bronze Award for collecting 50 star points. To celebrate they had a class treat today watching a movie with a drink and a snack. Perfect!
Congratulations!

Year 1 and Year 6 had a great time taking part in the Santa Dash on Friday - even Mrs Parker took part! They showed fantastic perseverance and teamwork and their were some amazing Christmas outfits too! A big thank you to the sports leaders who helped to run the event, you were amazing!
KS2 pupils took part in the Urban Extreme Dance Fest on Wednesday. They have been working very hard perfecting their street dance routine in their afterschool club on a Friday and they came an amazing 4th place! Their routine was jam packed with skills including the worm and forward walkovers; there were lots of solo and duet sections and many great transitions into different formations. They also got the trophy for the best team spirit and were very encouraging of each other in the preperation for the competition and also of other schools on the competition day. Well done everyone!
Today the Year 6 Sport's Ambassador delivered the PE lesson. They played a few warm up games and then organised the class into teams to play bench football.
They are all great leaders!
