Year 6 have lots of knowledge about Poland and loved finding out about the culture, food and cities. They also loved the heads, shoulders, knees and toes song too. Happy Polish Independence Day everyone!
On 11th November 1918 Poland celebrated it's independence day. As Polish is our Modern Foreign Language - we will be celebrating this event and taking part in many activities. Miss Laitl our Polish teacher will lead this.
Anti-Bullying Week 2024 will take place from Monday 11th - Friday 15th November, with the theme: Choose Respect. Odd Socks Day is taking place on Tuesday 12th November, with adults and children being encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.

The Greater Manchester Fire Service from Stalybridge came to talk to Year 6 today about the dangers of being out near fireworks. The children had lots of questions and experiences to share with Josh and Connor.
