Year 6 had a fabulous time with Charles from the Jason Robinson Foundation Trust this afternoon. What a great way to chill after their tests this morning.

Meet our new Librarians. We had our first meeting on Friday and they already have lots of plans for the year ahead. They will be very busy soon helping to organise our new library furniture. The lunchtime clubs will start very soon and they can't wait to get going.
Our new House Captains have been voted for Sapphire, Amber, Ruby and Emerald. Good luck to our new houses. Let's see who our first winner is!

Look at all our amazing Year 6 leaders. We have Head Boy and Head Girl, Pupil Leaders, Sports Leaders, Prefects, Librarians and House Leaders. They will be excellent role models for the whole school!

Year 6 have got cracking with their learning really well. I'm impressed by their determination and drive at tackling new things. Have a look at a few activities from today.
Welcome to Year 6 with Mrs Higham and Mrs Gao. We are really looking forward to teaching the cohort again and supporting them in their final year at Broadbent Fold. I do hope you've all had a fabulous summer holiday, and the children are raring to get cracking for our first term in Year 6. This half term starts by ensuring the children understand the expectations of Year 6. I will be explicit in how we can raise standards to ensure the children know what they need to do this year to be secondary school ready.
Look at our carrots and lettuce that has grown is our vegetable patch! Our KS1 gardeners are thrilled!
Congratulations to Isobel who won our Sports Award for 2024!
She has represented school in 9 different sports this year and put 100% into all of her PE lessons. She has been an amazing sports leader and Game Changer helping to inspire other children to participate in sport.
Well done!

A huge well done to Macy and Sam our end of year achievers in year 6. They both absolutely deserve this for their amazing effort and attitude in year6.
Also well done to all of the children who have 100% or 99% attendance in year 6.
Finally thank you again to all of the year 6 children who have supported in a leader or monitor job this year.
