We are so proud of how well our Year 1 children have settled into their new classes this term. They’ve made a fantastic start to Key Stage 1, and it's been lovely to see their confidence grow each day. To support a smooth transition from the Early Years, the children have been engaging in a mix of continuous provision, tabletop tasks, and short whole-class activities. This gentle approach has helped them adjust to the new routines while still learning through play and exploration. So far, they’ve completed activities from across the whole curriculum, including fine motor, phonics, writing, maths, science, art, and PE. It’s been a busy and exciting start to the year, and we’re looking forward to all the wonderful learning to come!
