Amazing handwriting

Wow just look at our lovely presentation throughout school. These children have been selected to win the Handwriting Award this half term and their work is proudly on display. They all won a certificate and special pencil.

Our winners are: Nursery- Dominic, Reception- Myles, Year 1- Anaya, Year 2- Poppy H, Year 3- George, Year 4- Isla, Year 5- Ella F, Year 6- Matilda

Water resistance

Year 5 were investigating the effects of water resistance using clay to mold them into difference shapes and timed the speed when they dropped into a jug of water.

Reporters and witnesses

Our next genre for writing will be news articles. The class role-played as reporters and witnesses to report on the events of a villain that they had created in their spy stories. This will support them in writing witness statements in their news articles.

Teamwork

The class played teamwork games that needed trust and communication to complete today's activities with the sports coach.

Superstars

Well done to these children for receiving an award today and also to Year 5 for achieving a level 1 and/or a level 2 in Bikeability!

P.E team games

Year 5 had to figure out the most efficient way to cross the hall using spots and mats. Communication and teamwork was key for a smooth crossing.

Girls’ Glow Dodgeball

Lots of fun was had by the Year 5 and 6 girls at glow dodgeball tonight! It was great to see them all singing, dancing, dressing up and most importantly enjoying themselves! Well done to everyone that took part!

Hockey finals

A huge well done to our Year 5 pupils who took part in the Tameside hockey finals yesterday. They showed great teamwork and determination throughout! Amazing job everyone!

We did it!

We are super proud of Year 5 with their accomplishments for the past 2 days! The children absolutely loved being instructed by Bikeability!
