Year 5's are working in small groups to generate numbers with a dice. They then need to figure out what the nearest 10, 100, 1000 it could be if it was to round up or down, and circle the correct answer.

Today in science, the children learnt about the phases of the moon. We used a torch (the sun) to shine on a white ball (the moon) to see how it would illuminate the moon whilst it orbits the Earth. The children holding the moon represented Earth and they slowly spun round on the spot.
