13 of our KS2 pupils took part in the second leg of the Cross Country Grand Prix on Saturday. It was lovely to see some pupils representing school for the first time! A big well done to everyone that took part!

Our Year 5 and 6 girls took part in a futsal competition this week. They showed great attacking and defensive skills and worked well as a team! Great job girls!
Please find attached the Tameside Libraries newsletter and events for primary schools. They have lots of fantastic events planned for over half term some are bookable via Eventbrite and others are drop in but all of them are free!

The class have finished writing their diary entries! They prepped their paper by staining it with tea bags which should be ready for them to use next week with an ink fountain pen. They're excited to write up their final piece!

Year 5 used charcoal to draw a chimney sweeper or a chimney sweeping brush. They did an amazing job!
Well done to these children for receiving a headteachers merit, good to be green pencils and a handwriting award!

Year 5 paid Year 2 a visit to share their research about a planet from our solar system. Year 2 demonstrated excellent listening skills and the Year 5's enjoyed sharing their knowledge.

Year 5 have learnt about the planets in our solar system for this half term's Earth and Space topic. Today, they created their own planet using oil pastels as a medium, and wrote a fact file to accompany it.
