One of our favourite events of the year - the EYFS sports day where anything goes! Well done to everyone in Nursery and Reception, you never fail to make us smile!
Today our catering team put on a World Cup Menu. This included a meatball sub and flag coloured jellies. Our team are incredible and go above and beyond for our pupils. The pupils got 'stuck in' after the morning of sports, even loosing a few meatballs along the way!

Today, we took part in the friendship baton relay between different schools in Tameside. We received the olynpic torch from Yew Tree Primary School whilst we were taking part in our Nerf Fest at Astley Sports Village!

Today we had the privilege of the Friendship baton coming to Broadbent Fold. Two lucky year 6 children did two laps of the field with a very enthusiastic audience clapping and cheering them on, fantastic!

Reception have been investigating which material is the best for the three little pigs. The big bad wolf came along and did his best blowing but we found he could not blow the brick at all; it was too heavy. We estimated how far he could blow each material and recoded our results.
The award winning display looks amazing at the front of school. The presentation throughout school is such a strength which is lovely to see. Our winners are :

To celebrate the World Cup 2026 and the pride of our national teams, we are allowing our pupils to wear national tops all the way through the tournament. We just love the diversity we have and it is important to celebrate that, whether they are in the World Cup or not.
Today we thank Mrs Kleban aka 'Wonder Woman'. She is our amazing reception teacher, EYFS Leader and SENCo. Mrs Kleban goes above and beyond for our pupils everyday and we love her!
