We celebrate our differences today with Odd Socks Day 2024 - part of our Anti-bullying themes this week.
Anti-Bullying Week 2024 will take place from Monday 11th - Friday 15th November, with the theme: Choose Respect. Odd Socks Day is taking place on Tuesday 12th November, with adults and children being encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.
This half term we will be learning all about fabulous festivals and reading 'The Gingerbread Man'.
Below is the link to our medium term plan and home learning grid (this is entirely optional).
Mrs Kleban
Our Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 cheerleaders put on an amazing performance for parents on Friday! They included a chant, two routines and lots of tricks. Fantastic work everyone!
Well done to our first Vocab Ninja winners of the year. These children always contribute in their Word of the day lessons and try hard to use good vocabulary in their writing.
We have signed photos to raffle for our Christmas Fair - keep an eye out for these crackers!

Today the Reading Ambassadors worked with Mrs Parker to judge the winner of our book corner competition. They walked around school and gave some frank but fair comments about the book corners.

Year 3 will win their prize in assembly this week.
For World Space Week 2024, the chosen theme is “Space & Climate Change.” This theme celebrates the impact of space technology in our ongoing battle against climate change, emphasizing the proactive role space exploration plays in enhancing our understanding and management of Earth’s climate.

The furniture for our new library has arrived and it looks so smart. Thank you for your fund raising contributions to help us make this area colourful and enticing for our pupils. The new texts look great and it inspires our pupils to use the library and explore books.
