Broadbent Fold is pleased to be taking part in The National Year of Reading which is a major UK-wide campaign led by the Department for Education and the National Literacy Trust to bring an enjoyment of reading back for all of our pupils. 

Soon we will celebrate World Book Day with a week of special reading events planned. Please see the attached newsletter for more details but a date for your diary is Friday 6th March which is an optional dressing up day. Children may dress up as their favourite character or just come into school in their comfy pjs with a book to curl up with. Please look at the details attached about our Book Swap and World Book Day decorate a paper plate competition for Years 1-6.  I hope everyone has enjoyed using their £1 book token.
