Happy World Book Day

We have started World Book Day with a very cool assembly today. Year 6 shared a performance poem which could be read both ways called a palindrome. This had a strong message about refugees. Then Mrs Lewis shared her favourite story 'The wonky donkey' rapped by MC Grammar. We really enjoyed this so if you want to learn any more songs being sang by MC Grammar have a look on the internet. Then Miss Lewis shared a poem she has created all about our fabulous school.

Ash Randall visit

Today, we were lucky enough to have a visit from freestyle footballer Ash Randall. He showed us lots of his amazing skills and we couldn't wait to have a go at break and lunch time ourselves. We were impressed to find out that Ash has 25 world records for his freestyle football skills and also has an award for having over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. He said the main things for becoming a great freestyle footballer are determination, perseverance, passion and honesty - some of our sporting values!
