Tag rugby heats

Last week, some Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in a tag rugby competition against other schools in Tameside.

Our A team qualified for the finals winning 2 games, drawing 1 and losing 1, scoring 8 tries overall.

Our B team came 5th in their group scoring 7 tries.

Both teams used both attacking and defensive strategies that they have learnt with Charlie from the Jason Robinson Fou ration and showed great teamwork throughout. Well done Broadbent Fold!

BBF vs St Mary’s

Our Year 5 and 6 boys football team got rather muddy tonight in their football match against St Mary's Catholic Primary School in the first round of the Alan Millea cup, which they won 3-1! They showed great skill and didn't let the mud bother them. Fantastic work boys!
