Good Bye to Charles at the JRF

We said thank you and good bye to Charles yesterday. Our amazing coach and mentor from the Jason Robinson Foundation. We have been so lucky to have him at our school and he has inspired the next generation to work hard and show respect. We also got to our very first rugby final and our pupils now have a passion for rugby. We are so thankful.

No Pens Day!

Year 5 enjoyed working with Mrs Gething doing some fun activities for No Pens Day!  They used verbal communication to children who couldn't see the board to describe Fairy Tale characters, as well as describing different items!  They also used signs and gestures to describe who they were pretending to be!  They proved that we don't always need pens to communicate  Well done everyone!

No Pens Day

We have loved No Pens Day in year 3 today. We discussed non verbal methods of communication and how Morse code is used. We then created our own secret words in Morse code.

Year 5 popped in to see if they could uncover the code as part of their secret spy mission.

Bikeability Day 2 !

Year 5's second day of Bikeability was another action packed day - out onto the local roads straight away to fulfil the criteria of Level 2.  A great deal of observation and communication was involved!  Year 5 are now the proud owners of Bikeability badges and certificates!  Well done to everyone - you were amazing!  Mrs Blomeley
