Good Bye to Charles at the JRF

We said thank you and good bye to Charles yesterday. Our amazing coach and mentor from the Jason Robinson Foundation. We have been so lucky to have him at our school and he has inspired the next generation to work hard and show respect. We also got to our very first rugby final and our pupils now have a passion for rugby. We are so thankful.

Atlas Fun

Year 4 enjoyed their Geography lesson today where they used atlases to find different countries, rivers, mountains and cities around the world.

Handball fun

Year 4 braved the cold on Wednesday for their handball lesson. They were learning all about how to find and pass to someone in space.

Making instruments

Year 4 had lots of fun making cardboard box guitars and panpipes our of straws. They were challenged with making instruments that could play different volumes and pitches. They used smaller and thinner elastic bands and straws to make a higher pitch sound and found if they blew or plucked harder the volume would increase.

Ten-pin Bowling Panathlon Competition

Lots of fun had by our KS2 pupils at the panathlon ten pin bowling competition on Wednesday. They showed great teamwork and managed to score 443 points and Matthew even managed to score 2 spares. Well done everyone!
