Year 4 loved their Crumble Coding workshop this week all about electricity!
They created an algorithm using a forever loop to make the sparkles flash. They then changed the colour and speed of the flashes before adding more sparkles. They were then challenged to use coding to create a working traffic light. Finally, they had lots of fun using the sparkle boards to create a disco.

Our Game Changers led the assembly on Tuesday to tell us all about their role as Game Changers and #LetGirlsPlay day which is taking place this Friday1 (7th March)
On Friday there will be girls only football matches at break and lunch. All classes have taken part in a challenge set by the Game Changers to do as many passes as they can in 30 seconds this week. The Game Changers also set a challenge to create a Broadbent Fold football logo/badge to be brought into school by Wednesday 12th March.

We had lots of fun reading our favourite books in our DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) session today. We cannot wait to see everyone's World Book Day outfits tomorrow and don't forget to bring in your entries for the book in a box competition.
