World Championships Dance Success!
What an achievement for the 5 girls who took part in the dance world championships at the weekend in London! They did our school proud winning the silver medal for their contemporary routine and came 6th in their street dance routine. Amazing work girls, we are so proud of you!

Our Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils loved taking part in the Tameside Sports Quiz on Friday! We were impressed with how much everyone knew! A huge congratulations to the Pickleboys (a year 5 team) who scored 50/60 and came 4th in Tameside!

Lots of fun was had at the ten pin bowling competition by some of our KS2 pupils. Well done for scoring so many spares and strikes! You did our school proud!
Amazing handwriting
Wow just look at our lovely presentation throughout school. These children have been selected to win the Handwriting Award this half term and their work is proudly on display. They all won a certificate and special pencil.

As part of Polish Day, Year 4 created wycinanki artwork which dates back to the 19th century and involves cutting paper to create decorative designs. We loved how colourful our finished artwork was!
Swimming Awards

Year 4 have been amazing us in their swimming lessons each week and have all earnt their swimming badges. Great job everyone, keep it up!

Year 4 have been working really hard in their Maths lessons on area where they used post it notes to measure the area of different objects including the table! They had to make sure their were no gaps and that they didn't overlap.
Polish Day
Polish is our MFL in school and each year we have a day of celebration. Look out for blogs and Seesaw work all about Poland today.
Reading Ambassadors Meeting

Today the Reading Ambassadors had their first meeting with Lisa from Tameside Libraries. They joined in on Zoom with other Reading Ambassadors in Tameside. They looked at the work produced in our library club this term.
Our next mission is to encourage children to make a Book Review.
