Well done to these children who have received their Head Teacher's Award and Good to be Green prizes. Keep up the good work and attitude to learning!

First aid workshop Year 3

In our first aid workshop with Danny a first aid trainer from Mini First Aid Manchester we learnt what to do if there was an emergency.

We need to know to dial 999 in an emergency, we need to know our postcode and address in case we need to tell 999 where we are.

What3words- APP is a great APP to track where you are.

Did you know that you can do CPR to the tune of baby shark!

Head bumps

Bleeding and wounds

Burns

Fractures

Congratulations to all the children who received the Head Teachers's Award as well as Silver and Bronze awards. A big well done to the children who won their Good to be Green Raffle. Keep up the good work everyone!

What an explosive week!

Year 3 have had a truly explosive week, starting off with sharing their home made models of volcanoes. The models are fabulous lots of support from parents.

Children have learnt all about volcanoes in their Geography lessons. They have even wrote their own acrostic poems.

As an art focus they've created collages of volcanoes and used oil pastels to draw volcanoes.
