Well-being Wednesdays

As part of our Well-being Wednesday sessions, the children have been enjoying learning and playing a variety of card games, including favourites such as Snap and Make 21.These games provide a fun and engaging way for the children to spend time together while also developing important skills.

Visit From Ash Randall

We were lucky enough this afternoon to have a visit from Ash Randall, the freestyle footballer. He showed his fantastic skills that he has been practising for over 20 years and taught us the importance of perseverance. Our Game Changers and some of the teachers even got to have a go at some of the skills!

Made for this Game Day

Our Game Changers have done a fantastic job organising events for Made for this Game day.

The girls enjoyed having a girls only football competition at lunchtime today and the whole school have loved challenging themselves to see how many passes they can do in 1 minute.

Don't forget you have until Wednesday to bring in your letters to Ella Toone and your posters for the Made for this Game competition.

Game Changers Assembly

Our Game Changers led assembly today where they told us all about 'Made for this Game' day which is happening this Friday! They do a fantastic job at promoting girls football across school and have organised lots of challenges/events for this week:

- girls only football at lunchtime on Friday

- lunch time competition - how many passes can you do in 1 minute?

Well done girls! We are So excited for all the events this week!

Well done to this weeks award winners. More children have achieved their bronze award too. Well done to H who has earned trainer of the week at his outside of school football club! Well done children, keep up the hard work

Home reading champion

Well done to our Home Reading Champion – you are a reading superstar! Reading at home is such an important part of learning. It builds vocabulary, strengthens imagination, improves writing skills, and most importantly, develops a lifelong love of books. Every time our children read at home, they take another step towards becoming confident, independent learners.
