Fruit kebabs

This half term, the children have been busy re-searching different types of fruits and exploring their colours, textures, and patterns. As part of this learning, they designed their own repeating pattern fruit kebabs, carefully thinking about how to arrange the fruits in a sequence.

Today, the children put their ideas into practice by using their Design and Technology (D&T) skills to prepare their ingredients. They learned how to safely peel and chop a variety of fruits, showing great care and independence.

World Book Day - Buddy Reading

World Book Day

To celebrate National World Book Day, the children came to school dressed as their favourite book characters, while others chose to wear their pyjamas to celebrate the joy of bedtime stories and the special time many families share reading together at the end of the day. It was wonderful to see such a fantastic range of costumes and to talk about all of the different stories the children enjoy. As part of our celebrations, the children also took part in a “Guess the Book from the Prop” activity.
