Welcome back to Summer Term 1, which is a short but busy term!    Our topic is “Who were the Anglo Saxons?” and we have many fun activities planned to explore how this ancient civilisation have influenced our lives today.  Year 5 will love our hands-on activities for Anglo Saxon Day. which wiill include baking in the style of that time, weaving with wool and jewellery making.  Other artistic opportunities include recreating the Bayeux Tapestry when they learn about the Battle of Hastings. 

The PE days for this half term are Wednesdays and Fridays, where the children will be developing their skills in Football and Rounders..
