Members of Year 5 have been undertaking some training lately to be Peer Mentors for Maths!  They have been learning how to use Funkey cards with a view to helping younger children learn their times tables and other important Maths skills,   The training for young mentors helps children think about the strategies and language which will motivate and encourage others.  Next term, when they have completed their training, our young mentors are looking forward to working with some of our Year 4 children.  Watch this space!  Mrs Blomeley
