After reading with Nursery we joined in with the BBC Live World Book Day lesson.

In class we have made character top trumps which we can play at wet playtimes. We have also prepared some character speeches. Tomorrow we will take part in the Ultimate Character Champion Battle. We will practise our oracy skills to deliver our speeches to the class. We will have a panel of year 5 judges who will choose out ultimate champion. I can't wait to see who wins.

This afternoon we watched a live video from actor and author Stephen Mangan. He has a book out we can use our world Book Day tokens to get called 'The fart that broke the world' He was very funny.

Finally at half 2 we Dropped Everything And Read- D.E.A.R! This was very relaxing. Tomorrow we will dress as our favourite characters and we will find out the winners of our book scene competition.
