We have had a smashing day today dressed as Vikings. We worked collaboratively in groups to plan and then perform our own Viking sagas. These were really incredible, and I am so impressed with the acting skills in the class. Your knowledge of Vikings shone through today in your re-enactments.

The children then shared what they have created for their homework project. We had a huge range of artefacts from swords, shields and axes to bows and jewellery. Some children completed a research project to share about a chosen topic like the Northern lights. 

Thank you for such a fun-filled day Year 6. Let's use this creative flair when we write our own Viking sagas in English next week.
