This half term, our topic is ‘Tremendous Toys: Have You Got This Toy at Home?’. Throughout the topic, pupils will explore how toys have evolved over time, comparing the toys enjoyed by their grandparents with the toys children play with today. They will have the opportunity to handle and investigate a range of traditional toys, helping them to understand how materials, design and technology have changed over the years. Using their Design and Technology (D&T) skills, pupils will also design and make their own moving toy. For further details about the learning planned for this half term, please refer to the MTP.
