Rainforests Revisited!
Most of Year 5's summaries of our last topic, "Why should the world's Rainforests matter to all of us?", mentioned how they enjoyed how our classroom changed on a daily basis! In the end, we all felt like we were living in an actual rainforest, just like the characters in our class text, The Explorer! . We even had parrots and tarantulas in our canopy! Apart from the children, of course, we have to thank Mr Berry for his brilliant efforts into making this possible, and to Mrs Hallam who helped the children to make the realistic vines, which seemed to grow on their own overnight. The topics on the various endangered animals, and thie brilliant artwork by the children, all added to our wonderful learning that took place in Year 5. We can't wait for the next topic, when we delve into the lives of the infamous Anglo Saxons! Mrs Blomeley
