Yesterday, we found an envelope and lots of composer badges in our classroom. There was a letter from the English National Opera to tell us all about a project where they need our help composing to finish off a piece of music. We watched a video about the libretto 'Blue, Red, Yellow' and looked at how the composer was feeling and what he was thinking about when he thought of the different colours.

Today, we voted for the colour we are going to base our composition on and chose peony pink. We then worked in groups to brainstorm ideas of feelings and different things we think think of when we look at peony pink. We will use the final word bank to help us to generate ideas when we are composing our piece of music.
