This half term, the children have been busy re-searching different types of fruits and exploring their colours, textures, and patterns. As part of this learning, they designed their own repeating pattern fruit kebabs, carefully thinking about how to arrange the fruits in a sequence.

Today, the children put their ideas into practice by using their Design and Technology (D&T) skills to prepare their ingredients. They learned how to safely peel and chop a variety of fruits, showing great care and independence.

Once their fruits were ready, the children assembled their repeating pattern kebabs, following the designs they had planned earlier. It was fantastic to see their creativity come to life! Of course, the best part was tasting their delicious creations—there were lots of smiles and happy faces all around.
