We have had a very arty week. We have explored the cut-outs used by Henri Matisse. We then looked at how to create a tessellated pattern with cut out pieces creating our own fish tessellated picture. We then looked at mosaic artwork creating our own symmetrical patterns. Today we created our final collage pieces to represent a landscape in England. The children chose whether to create a mosaic landscape or a Matisse inspired landscape. Our finished art gallery looks incredible and because so much work was good we will display some on the KS2 Art Gallery too. Please browse the photographs of our final pieces.
