Today, the children have been using Scratch Jr on the ipads in small groups to create simple algorithms. The children started the lesson by choosing a Sprite and a suitable backdrop. The children then explored some basic algorithms to get their sprite to move. The children were given s challenge to get their Sprite to move to create different shapes. The children took notes of the different algorithms that worked which they can refer back to next lesson.The children have also explored adding another Sprite and got both of their Sprites to move and have a conversation. Some children were able to add in their own voices too. Good job everyone!
