Science Week workshop

Year 3 watched a live zoom lesson yesterday about how special satellites in space observe and record data about how healthy our oceans are. We discovered that humpback whales are very important in keeping oceans healthy. Scientists need to track whales to check on them and they have special dogs gained to sniff and identify them from the whale's poo!

We found out about lots of different jobs involved in design space satellites including space engineers, product managers, thermal engineers and marine biologists.
