We’ve had a flying start to Year One this half term! On Friday, we enjoyed a fantastic Superhero Day, linked to our theme, “Where Will Your Superpowers Take You?” The children came dressed as superheroes — and not just those who wear capes! We celebrated the everyday superheroes in our community too, thinking about the amazing people who help, care for and inspire us. The children used their creativity to design and collage their very own Avengers shields and created live art before putting their superhero skills to the test on our exciting superhero assault course. They balanced, climbed under and over obstacles, rolled and showed fantastic determination and teamwork! What a super way to celebrate our learning — we can’t wait to see where our SUPERPOWERS take us next!
