Welcome back to Year 3.

I hope you have had a wonderful holiday. 

Our PE days are Mondays and Wednesdays this half term. In Year 3 reading is our priority and will be the main homework to be completed. It would be great if children could read their books every day because it makes such a difference to their fluency, understanding and confidence. All children are expected to read at least 3 times every week and reading records need to be signed by an adult please. I check reading records every Monday and Friday so please make sure books are in on these days to be checked. Passwords for Mathletics, Purple Mash, Seesaw, Get Epic, Maths Frame and Letterjoin are stuck on the front and back covers of the reading records. Get Epic can only be used between certain times so cannot be accessed at home. Please let me know if you have any problems logging into these apps ASAP so I can check. Any additional homework such as spellings would be set on these so please try and teach children how to use them at home so they are not relying on parents to login to complete tasks set. I have attached our topic information for Autumn 1 'Where would you travel to?' and the Home Learning Grid- this is set tasks which can be completed at home. Please try to complete one task per week and sent in via Seesaw.
