British Science week

British Science week

To celebrate British Science Week, we took part in an exciting investigation based around the question: “How far can a paper aeroplane fly?”

The children began by learning how to create a range of different paper aeroplanes. They carefully followed instructions and explored how small changes to the design could affect how the planes flew. Once their aeroplanes were ready, the children moved on to the testing stage of their investigation. They launched their planes and measured how far each one travelled. The children observed the results and compared distances. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to think like scientists—making predictions, testing ideas, and reflecting on their findings. The activity sparked lots of curiosity and enthusiasm. Stay tuned for more blogs about the exciting activities taking place during Science Week.
