Welcome to Year 6 with Mrs Higham and Mr Leach. We are really looking forward to teaching the cohort and supporting them in their final year at Broadbent Fold.  I do hope that you've all had a fabulous summer holiday, and the children are raring to get cracking for our first term in Year 6. This half term starts by ensuring the children understand the expectations of Year 6. I will be explicit in how we can raise standards to ensure the children know what they need to do this year to be secondary school ready. The children will be benchmarked within the first 2 weeks of starting Year 6, and booster classes will be arranged to target all children to solidify their understanding in Reading, SPaG and Maths.   These standards will be interwoven into our work in our first topic- Can You See Me?
