Today we marked Polish Independence Day in Year 5 by linking it to our Spy topic!  The class enjoyed playing "I Spy With My Little Eye" with a Polish twist!  They had to find objects from a list, with their Polish names!  They learnt that many items had similar names to the English versions, such as panda and zebra, yet a football is called a piłka nożna!  We had fun and discovered some new Polish words!  Mrs Blomeley
