I do hope you've all had a fabulous October holiday, and the children are raring to get cracking for our second term in Year 6. This half term will continue immersing the children in the expectations of Year 6. I will be explicit in how we can raise standards to ensure the children know what they need to do this year to be secondary school ready. These standards will be interwoven into our work in our second topic of the year- Did we come from apes? Here we will explore evolution; learn about Charles Darwin and Alfred Wallace and investigate our heritage.Our PE days will be on Tuesdays and Wednesday. Seeing as PE is at 2:00 on Tuesday afternoon, the children will go home in their kit.
