We worked around a carousel of activities to explore a different aspect of Mayan life today. We looked at Mayan hieroglyphs and created our own logograms. We investigated the Mayan number system to decode different numbers. Finally we created our own complex Mayan calendars and used them to find our 'Mayan' date of births.
