Lest We Forget

What a moving moment Year 4 had on Friday as they remembered the servicemen and women who lost their lives so we could be free.

Anti bullying Week in Year 4.

Year 4 have been working hard this week to understand the different forms of bullying and how they materialise. They have been very mature in their discussions and are ambassadors in eradicating bullying within schools. What a fantastic week with great leaders of the future.

Remembrance Service

Our Head Boy, Head Girl and Chair of Governors attended the Remembrance Service at Dukinfield Cenotaph yesterday on behalf of Broadbent Fold School and community. They represented our school so well and made us proud.

Game Changers

Well done to our new Game Changers who completed their training last night. They are going to help promote girls football as part of a national campaign to have equal access by 2024. They have some fantastic ideas already and are loving wearing their new hoodies.

Year 4 Pitch Lesson

Year 4 had a fabulous time experimenting with instruments to see which ones had the lower or higher pitch. They found out that the largest instruments made the lower pitch. It was great for them to try and work out why as well.

Year 4 Superstars

A massive congratulations to our superstars this week. I'm really impressed by all the bronze winners already. Keep up all the hard work Year 4.

R.E - Rangoli patterns (Diwali)

Year 4 have created Rangoli patterns inspired by Diwali. Rangoli patterns are colourful and bright designs made on the floor by the entrance of a house to welcome visitors. During Hindu festival of Diwali, people create these eye-catching patterns to encourage the goddess Lakshmi to enter their homes and to keep away evil spirits.
