Timestable Superstars

Year 4 are working really hard to improve their timestables scores. They've been testing each other, practising at home and really focusing. I'm super proud of all their efforts. Keep it up Year 4 as it's only a few weeks to your test.

Fantastic Home learning in Year 4

Year 4 were super creative when asked to create a river system this week for their home learning task. They will be using this knowledge next week when we visit Park Bridge too. Fantastic work Year 4.

Good Luck Year 6!

All of us here at Broadbent Fold would like to take the opportunity to wish all of year 6 the best of luck for their tests next week.

We are very proud of how hard you have all worked this year- you are all stars!

Coronation Celebrations in Year 4

What a fantastic day we've had celebrating a once in a lifetime celebration. The children have made tea party place mats, completed a table seating plan for a street party, had their face painted, completed word searches and enjoyed a proper tea party in class. Lots of fun has been had by everyone. What a fabulbous day!

River Investigation

Year 4 used a lot of reasoning to find out what the pictures of a river showed. They were fantastic at justifying the difference between a floodplain and a delta and examining the pictures that showed channels, waterfalls, tributaries and levees. A great geography lesson.

Daily Mile

Fantastic work Year 4 for continuing your Daily Mile activities. I'm very proud of the effort you are putting in to gaining your marathon by the end of May. Keep up all the exercise, whether it be walking or running.

Mini Marathon

Year 4 have been completing the mini marathon since last Monday. They are getting fitter and enjoying running on the yard for 10 minutes. They've been inspired by the London marathon this weekend and really tried to complete more laps in the time allocated and they are really looking forward to the Daily Mile Challenge on Thursday.
