Our Year 4 and 5 boys football team had their first game against Arlies PrImary School this week with a final score of 0-2. They showed great promise and teamwork with some fantastic passing skills and lots of shoto on target. We can't wait to see how you develop as a team in future matches. Well done boys!

Year 4 have thoroughly enjoyed finding out about the Egyptians. They used non-fiction books and iPads to research and loved finding out about pharaohs, pyramids, treasure, location, hieroglyphics, the River Nile, Tutankhamun and Cleopatra. I'm sure you'll agree how fantastic their work looks.
Another wonderful session with our Good to be Green pupils. Well done and keep following our values - next time it could be you!
I do hope you've all had a lovely Whit holiday and are ready and the children are raring for our last term. This half term we're whizzing back in time to the Ancient Egyptians. The children will be learning about this advanced civilization, using hieroglyphics, finding out about Howard Carter, pharaohs and the importance of the River Nile and making a shaduf.

What a fantastic job the Eco Leaders and the lovely volunteers from Findel Education did making the new vegetable garden. We have planted lots of vegetables and fruit in our beds and are looking forward to seeing them grow. We can't wait to see the fruits of our labours!
