Cross Country Grand Prix

Our KS2 pupils did us proud in the final race of the Cross Country Grand Prix. Well done to everyone that took part!

A huge congratulations to our Year 3/4 boys cross country team who won team 1st place over the 3 races in the Grqnd Prix.

Year 3/4 girls - Esme 23rd, Alice 28th

Year 3/4 boys - Eric 14th, Dougie 21st, Niki 22nd, Seb 23rd, Ralph 34th

Year 5/6 girls - Matilda 27th

Year 5/6 boys - Luke 23rd


Autumn 2 Topic: Could you stick it in the Stone Age?

Over the next 7 weeks our new topic is 'Could you stick it in the Stone Age?'. We will become historians delving back to prehistoric times to explore what life was like. To begin our topic we have our exciting workshop on Thursday 6th November. Please see the attcahed topic information which describes some of the activites we will be taking part in this half term. Please also see the home learning grid- this gives lots of opportunity for home learning to consolidate learning completed in class. 


Bessie Coleman

For Black History month year 3 have found out about the life of American aviator Bessie Coleman. These sketches of her are fabulous. 


Corners

Year 3 loved playing mini games of football today. The Green team were our winning team.


Active minds

In our final active minds session we practised all of the yoga poses which we have learned. We finished with a relaxing meditation. 


Team Ruby Winners

Team Ruby win the team points this half term with 1,917 points. They receive non-uniform day on Thursday. Well done everyone. 


Active bodies

Year 3 had their last active body session this morning where they celebrated everything they have done so far.They worked in teams to design a game and teach others how to play it.
