We celebrate National Poetry Day on Thursday 1st October in school. Our Librarians have launched a new competition. Children in years 1-6 can illustrate a picture of their favourite poem or send in a photograph/video of themselves reading their favourite poem. Send this into your class teacher who will forward to Miss Harvey and the Librarians to choose a winner on Friday 9th October. Please see attached flyer with information.

For Wellbeing Wednesday year 3 had time on Get Epic today which is a reading app full of different types of fun books.
The Green Tree Schools Award is a Woodland Trust programme that rewards schools for completing environmental activities. At Broadbent Fold we provided the evidence for “Celebrate Extraordinary Trees”, “Connect Pupils with Nature”, “Improve Wellbeing in School” and, “Platinum Projects – A Woodland Perspective”. We are now working on our Platinum with Inside Out Forest School and our amazing staff and pupils. If any families want to help with our projects, please reach out to school.
