Basketball

We enjoyed our first basketball lesson with Mr Williams focusing on dribbling, triple threat positions and bounce passes.

Wellbeing Wednesday

To celebrate Wellbeing Wednesday we had some competitive games of Blooket to practise our spellings and times tables. We followed this with a peaceful meditation. What a lovely start to the day :)

Topic Information Spring: What makes Earth angry?

This half term we will explore why natural disaster occur including earthquakes and volcanoes. We will create non chronological reports and adventure narratives about different natural disasters using AI to generate images to help inspire us. In maths we will continue to focus on multiplication and division. All children should know their 2, 5, 10, 3, 4 and 8 x table facts with related division facts so keep practising on mathletics and using our songs. I am looking forward to seeing the creative projects which are completed- see Seesaw for more details.

Santa Dash

Year 3 enjoyed their Santa Dash today. Thank you to Kai and Henry our year 6 helpers who made it so much fun giving us different ways to dash around like 'hop like a Christmas tree' :)

School Spirit Showdown Champions!

Congratulations to our KS1 and KS2 dance teams who were both crowned champions at the School Spirit Showdown! They have been working so hard on their street dance routines in their after school club and did our school proud! A big thank you to Laura and Molly from United Sports Coaching who choreographed and taught our teams their routines.

Cave paintings

Our finished cave paintings look really good and they are displayed on our cave wall around the classroom door. The children have demonstrated all of their skills and techniques so well.
