Natural disaster presentations

Year 3 worked in small groups to research and present information on different natural disasters that occur. They produced some outstanding posters and used their oracy skills confidently to share their presentations with the class.

Year 3 and 4 Futsal Competition

Some of our Year 3 and 4 girls took part in a futsal competition on Friday! It was great to see some of them representing school for the first time. They showed great team work and some fantastic football skills. A big thank you to our Game Changers who came along to help coach the teams. Fantastic work girls, well done!

Superstars

Congratulations to our superstars in year stars in year 3 who shared their special achievements this week.

Scratch coding

Year 3 have started to use Scratch for coding. We have explored adding sprites and backdrops with different commands. I think we enjoy adding lots of sounds the most.

Mindful colouring

For Wellbeing Wednesday year 3 coloured some mindful capabaras whilst watching some soothing ocean scenes. A lovely relaxing way to start our Wednesday.

Role play

We did some role play today to recreate scenes from our class text 'A pebble in my pocket'

We had some very creative actors.

OAA lesson 1

Today we began our outdoor and adventurous activity with some team games. Then we had a leader who gave us some instructions to follow. These started easy but became more difficult when we had to remember four steps. Then we had to hunt around the playground for Ordnance Survey symbols and we had to work out what each symbol meant.
