Freeze Frame

Today we used Freeze Frame to reenact scenes from our text 'The pebble in my pocket' thinking about what was happening on earth millions of years ago.

Team building games

Year 3 enjoyed their team building games in PE today, especially 'Cross the river' where they had to use boats to cross every body over the river safely.

Walk to the North Pole

Broadbent Fold worked together to get 3961 points and successfully travel to the North Pole. Pupils and staff were tasked to try to complete 5 minutes of active travel every day where possible and every day they managed got a point for school. All children who managed to get at least 4 points were given a key ring as a prize. We had so many children complete their active travel every day that we had to raffle the top 3 prizes. Well done to everyone that took part!

Basketball

Year 3 are enjoying learning techniques and rules of basketball with our sport's coach Mr Williams.

The Winners are…

Well done to all the children who won awards and pencils today in assembly. We had so many Bronze Award winners.

We also won the PE trophy this week for being voted the best class by our sports coach Mr Williams.

Outdoor Adventurous Activity

Year 3 enjoyed their first lesson on OAA in PE yesterday.

After playing some team building games they had to work in groups to locate and match Ordnance Survey symbols.
