The KS2 Reading Ambassadors went to Dukinfield Town Hall this week to celebrate their hard work this year influencing reading at our school. Thank you for all of your help this year.

Football Tournament Fun

Lots of fun was had in a friendly football tournament for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 against St Mary's, Dukinfield. It was great to see such fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship! Well done boys!

Cheerleading competition

A huge congratulations to Broadbent Fold's cheerleading team who came 2nd in the Manchester Cheerleading Festival today. They had lots of energy, a clear chant and well executed jumps and tricks. Well done girls!

Plant investigations

Year 3 enjoyed planting seeds today to investigate the requirements of plants to grow. We will observe our plants over the next couple of weeks to test if our predictions were correct.

Ancient Greece Projects

I am so impressed with the effort that has been put into the creative homework set this half term. The clas proudly shared their work today using their oracy skills to tell us facts and explain how they completed their work. We had temples, fact sheets, coins, vases and much more. Thank you to everybody who joined in.

Summer Fair "Made with Love"

Year 5 were absolutely amazing at our Summer Fair yesterday!  Customers were greeted with "Come and buy our jewellery - it's been made with love!"  How could people resist!  Year 5 have worked incredibly hard over the past few day, planning, making and calculating the best prices to make the maximum profit on our sales.  Despite the rain, we managed to make over £80, which was AMAZING!  Thank you for all your hard work Year 5!  I might see some of  you on The Apprentice one day!  Mrs Blomeley

Design technology: making Greek Salads

Year 3 have used their designs to create delicious Greek salads today. They have peeled, chopped and prepared all of their ingredients themselves. What else can you make at home? Send in your photographs to Seesaw.
