Pupil Leaders and Wellbeing

Our Pupil Leaders met and completed their first task today. They met our Mental Health Leader and discussed wellbeing. Their next task is to review our anti-social behaviour policy.

Front Row Music

Front Row Music came into assembly today to explain their music facilities. They got some children to demonstrate how easy it was to play the guitar and ukulele, play some games and they really enthused the children. If you wish for your child to have lessons, please ask for a sign up sheet.

P.E: Hockey

For this half term, year 3 are learning about the sport Hockey. Today, the children practised near and far positions and how to dribble a ball using the hockey stick. The class did really well!

Our ticket around the world

Today was very exciting, Year 3 had their passports and boarding pass ready as we pretended to go on a flight to Madrid.

We watched safety videos and learnt about countries in Europe.

Year 3 Autumn term information

Welcome to Year 3, where in the world will your ticket take you is our theme for Autumn 1.

We have a fun filled, busy half term ahead with our hook of pretending to go on a plane to fly around the world!!

We are looking forward to learning with a Geography focus. Children will learn and remember cities, and use atlases and maps to locate countries

In English, we will read and write postcards improving our knowledge of verbs and sentence structure.

Science investigation

Science investigation: Can people with longer femurs jump further? The year 3 children found that most of the children with longer femurs were able to jump the furthest.
