Tag Rugby Competition

A big well done to the Year 5 and 6's who represented Broadbent Fold in the tag rugby competition this week. They all did the school proud coming 3rd in their group. They won against Moorside and Greenside 2 and lost to Russell Scott and Manchester Road 1. All pupils showed brilliant teamwork and great sportsmanship.

Broadbent Fold vs Arlies

The girls football team had a fantastic first match against Arlies Primary School with Broadbent Fold winning 13-0. Laura got player of the match for her fantastic teamwork and for scoring 4 goals for the team. Thank you to Arlies for hosting the match.

Afterschool Penny Whistles Club!

Our budding musicians from Year 5 had their first Penny Whistles Afterschool Club on Friday!  We are so pleased that the children are continuing their journey from Year 4 with Tameside Music Services to learn how to play this instrument.  We hope to hear more from this group at future assemblies!  Mrs Blomeley

Year 4 Home Learning for w/c 20th July 2020

Here are this week’s Home Learning activities.  As it is the last week I have made sure they are fun!  I really like the outdoor learning activities from the Canal & River Trust as well as their ideas for Yoga.  Thank you for all your hard work during this difficult time – you have been amazing in the way you have adapted to the very tricky task of working at home!  Your parents have also been amazing so please do say thank you to them for all their help.  I hope you all have a lovely summer and I look forward to seeing you in September.
