We came 5th in our group playing games against Buckton Vale, Dowson, Aldwyn and Greenside. They won, drew and lost some games but showed great determination throughout and real improvement since the last competition. Well done everyone, you did Broadbent Fold proud!

Urban Extreme Dance Fest

KS2 pupils took part in the Urban Extreme Dance Fest on Wednesday. They have been working very hard perfecting their street dance routine in their afterschool club on a Friday and they came an amazing 4th place! Their routine was jam packed with skills including the worm and forward walkovers; there were lots of solo and duet sections and many great transitions into different formations. They also got the trophy for the best team spirit and were very encouraging of each other in the preperation for the competition and also of other schools on the competition day. Well done everyone!

Disney Football Fest

Some of our Year 2 girls took part in the Disney Football Fest on Thursday. They loved dressing up as their favourite Disney characters and played some great football matches against Parochial and Hurst Knoll winning both of their games without conceding any goals. Well done girls!

Glow Dodgeball

Everyone loved taking part in glow dodgeball this evening and have already been asking when they can play again. There was lots of brilliant dodging, great catches and fantatsic throwing and aiming. A special well done to our players of the tournament.

Quicksticks hockey competition

Some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils braved the cold and rain tonight to take part in a hockey competition. Our development team learnt lots of new skills and played a game against another school. Our competitive team came 3rd in their group winning 2-1 against Milton St John's, drawing 0-0 with Pinfold and losing 3-1 to Micklehurst. Well done to everyone that took part!

Game Changers

Well done to our new Game Changers who completed their training last night. They are going to help promote girls football as part of a national campaign to have equal access by 2024. They have some fantastic ideas already and are loving wearing their new hoodies.
