BBF vs St Mary’s

Our Year 5 and 6 boys football team got rather muddy tonight in their football match against St Mary's Catholic Primary School in the first round of the Alan Millea cup, which they won 3-1! They showed great skill and didn't let the mud bother them. Fantastic work boys!


BBF vs Arlies

Our Year 5 and 6 girls football team had a fantastic first game of the year against Arlies Primary school where they won 3-1. They had a positive attitude throughout and were very encouraging and supportive of one another. Great job girls!


Cross Country Grand Prix

Lots of Broadbent Fold pupils took on the challenge of cross country this morning at East Cheshire Harriers. It was lovely to see the support they gave each other Fantastic job everyone!

Year 3/4 girls = 28th India

Year 3/4 boys = 23rd Roman, 24th Harry, 29th E, 42nd Luke, 43rd Noah and 52nd Tobias

Year 5/6 girls = 6th A, 9th Courtney, 13th Chloe, 14th Lolly, 27th Amelia and 29th Phoebe

Year 5/6 boys = 5th Jacob, 7th George and 8th Dominic 


BBF vs Bradley Green

The Year 5 and 6 boys' football team had their first match of the year against Bradley Green Primary Academy where they won 7-1. They showed great team work and a positive attitude throughout the game. Well done to both teams!


Sport Awards

We are so proud to share we have received awards in sport for: School Games - Gold! PE Commitment and Engagement. Also Accessibility Award, showing our hard work for girls in sport. Well done everyone and especially Miss Mainprize! 


Musical Theatre.

Our new Musical Theatre after-school club started this week with Amelia from FIFTHMOVEMENT. The pupils will be developing their singing, dancing and acting skills over the autumn term.  


Cheer Fest

Our KS2 cheerleading team took part in Cheer Fest today where they came 4th in Tameside. Feedback from the judges said we had a fierce chant, good technique on elite jumps and that they enjoyed our routine! Well done Firecrackers!


Rounders final

Our Year 5 and 6 rounders team took part in the rounders final tonight for the 7 best primary schools in Tameside. They have really improved their communication skills in their fielding and managed to get lots of players out. You did Broadbent Fold proud, great job everyone!

Year 4 and 5 Boys Pokémon Cup

The Year 4 and 5 boys football team had their first ever match together in the Pokémon cup. They showed fantastic teamwork and spirit throuought the tournament and have made it through to the next round! Amazing work boys, well done!

Rounders competition

Last week, some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils braved the rain to take part in a rounders competition and have made it to the final on Tuesday! They had the following results...
