Year 1 and 2 Futsal

Our Year 1 and 2 boys loved representing Broadbent Fold for the first time in a futsal festival on Friday. They had some coaching by Inspired Futsal and learnt lots of new skills. Well done boys!

Basketball competition

Well done to our Year 5 and 6 basketball teams who competed in a tournament against other schools in Tameside just before the holidays. Both teams showed fantastic awareness of themselves and their opposition and worked well to move the ball around the court. They persevered with their shooting skills and managed to successfully score points on many occasions by the end of the tournament. Well done everyone!

Glow dodgeball

Year 3 and 4 had so much fun at the glow dodgeball festival last week! They had fantastic outfits, great dance moves and even better dodgeball skills! Well done everyone!

Girls Festival at Manchester City

The girls attended an under 11s festival - they played 4 teams and did not concede a goal - outstanding defence and goal keeping. We got knocked out in the final on penalties - however Woman of the Match was Captain Matilda who saved at least 8 penalties. Super proud of our girls!

Glow dodgeball

Our Year 5's and 6's had great fun at the glow dodgeball on Thursday! They showed great teamwork and even better dance moves! Well done everyone!

National YST Conference

Myself and Miss Mainprize had a great day celebrating and presenting our active uniform at the Youth Sport Trust Conference yesterday. It was wonderful opportunity to put our school on a national map.

Sienna meets Dave Ryding

Our future Olympic skier Sienna met a Winter Olympics legend Dave Ryding at a recent competition. He shared lots of tips and inspired her to reach for the stars in the sport. Well done Sienna we all support you!

Glow Futsal

Our Year 4 and 5 girls had so much fun at the very first glow futsal festival in Tameside. They showed great team work and loved dressing up for the event. Well done girls!
